We had a wonderful stay at a charming cottage in a great location. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, including keeping the cottage cool for our arrival and leaving delicious Welsh cakes for us. The cottage was well-equipped and perfect for a family stay. We enjoyed the stunning view from the bedroom and the easy access to beautiful walks and a nearby beach. The attention to detail and the warm welcome made our stay truly special. I highly recommend this cottage for a cosy and enjoyable getaway.
The steps to the back entrance and stairs inside the cottage were a bit steep and could be challenging for older or less mobile guests. Additionally, there was some traffic noise from the main road in the village.

We had a wonderful stay at a cottage in a charming village. The cottage itself was absolutely gorgeous and felt like a home away from home. It was clean, modern, and cozy, with plenty of space for our family of five. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bedding was cozy. We appreciated the extra touches like stair gates, a high chair, and toys for the kids. The bathroom had a big bath and a stand-up shower, which was perfect. We also enjoyed the fire pit/BBQ in the garden. The owners were incredibly helpful and quick to respond, and they even provided a lovely bottle of wine and some treats upon our arrival. it was a very enjoyable and special stay.
If we had to be really finicky, the steps up to the back entrance were very steep and slippery when wet, which made it a bit tricky to navigate. Additionally, the road outside the front of the property was noisy, which made it difficult for those in the front bedroom and the sofa bed to settle at first.

The beds at Selah Cottage were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for all of us. The cottage was well-equipped, especially in the kitchen, making it easy to prepare meals. We also appreciated the flexibility in check-in and check-out times provided by the host. The location was perfect for exploring South Wales, particularly for biking or hiking enthusiasts. The stunning views from the back of the house added to the charm of our stay.
One drawback was that the bathroom and toilet were located downstairs, which meant a trip downstairs during the night. Additionally, the steps leading to the garden were a bit steep and wobbly, which made it difficult for our elderly dog to navigate.
